Records of the writ petition reflect that on 07.10.2024 and 19.12.2024 when the writ petition was called, none appeared for the petitioner. Today also none represents the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner is in respect of inaction of the police authorities, particularly with regard to the information sent to Beniapukur Police Station on or about 13.08.2024.

Learned advocate for the State is present.

Having regard to the time frame which has passed, I direct that in case the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of the police authorities, he would be at liberty to take steps before the jurisdictional court. The jurisdictional court would assess and ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 20876 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
