The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for consideration of the representations submitted by petitioner before the concerned authority on 14.01.2017 and 16.02.2017. It is alleged that the petitioner's land was acquired by the concerned authority for construction and extension of a village road but no compensation was paid to the petitioner for the same.

Upon consideration of the submission made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties this Court is inclined to hold that since the representations submitted by the petitioner before the authority are pending, the authority be directed to consider the same within a stipulated time frame.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to consider and dispose of the representations filed by the petitioner on 14.01.2017 and 16.02.2017 within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order, after giving

reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. Let a copy of this order alongwith copies of the representations dated 14.01.2017 and 16.02.2017 be served upon the 2nd respondents by the petitioner at the earliest.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
