Mr. Sanat Roy, Mr. Baidurya Ghosal ...for the Petitioner Mr. Pantu Deb Roy, Mr. Pannalal Bandopadhyay ...for the State The petitioner holds a valid permit for the route from 10-09-2025 AKG Ct. 15 Burdwan Alisa Bus Stand to Kamarpukur via Shyamsundar, Pahalanpur, Muthadanga, and Arambag, which is valid until August 24, 2007.

The petitioner submitted a representation before the Regional Transport Authority, Purba Burdwan, seeking redressal of his grievance against a provisional timetable issued in favor of respondent no. 5.

Mr. Sanat Roy, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that despite the petitioner's grievance, the said timetable has been extended from time to time. Respondent no. 5 is not represented.

Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept on record.

In view of the foregoing facts, there is no justification to keep this writ petition pending. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, respondent no. 4, to

consider the objections raised by the petitioner, as set forth at pages 26 and 27 of the writ petition, after affording an opportunity of hearing to both the petitioner and respondent no. 5. Such consideration shall be completed within four weeks from the date of communication of this order. The authority shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the parties immediately thereafter.

WPA 20269 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
