Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to hand over a copy of this revisional application upon Mr. Mukherjee, learned Public Prosecutor, High Court, Calcutta.

Record reflects that the present case was initiated in the year 2018 and the petitioner was arrested on 23.07.2018 and since then, he is in custody. Out of eight witnesses, three witnesses have been examined.

Having considered that the petitioner is already in custody for four and a half years, the learned trial court would take efforts for concluding the trial within a period of six months, in the alternative the petitioner would be at liberty to pray for bail solely on the ground of period of detention.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 3369 of 2022 is disposed of. All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
