1. We have heard the learned Counsel for the appellant.

2. It is a clear case of abandonment of service. Moreover, the grounds taken by the petitioner for not joining the school are inconsistent. In the first letter, she assigned illness as a ground for absence from the said Madrasah and in the second representation, she assigned financial difficulty as a reason of absence from duty.

3. The explanation being untrustworthy, we dismiss the appeal.

4. In view of the dismissal of the appeal, the connected application also stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
