Earlier a Joint Compromise Application was furnished before this Court. Consequently, a report was called for. Ms. Debjani Sahu, Learned Advocate for the State, has submitted a report prepared by the concerned officer of Asansol P.S., which is enclosed with a declaration as well as the statement of one, Ms. Pallavi Rungta (the o.p. no.2, herein).

Having regard to the contents of the statement and the declaration, which reflects relating to amicable settlement, I am of the view that as the present case arose out of a matrimonial discord and, as such, further continuance of the same is unwarranted.

Consequently, all further proceedings of Asansol Women P.S. Case No. 14 of 2023 dated 26.2.2023 (G.R. Case No.

of 2023) under Sections 498A/323/313/307/377/354B/406/504/506/34 of the IPC, wherein, in course of pendency of the application, compromise has been arrived at, is hereby quashed. With the above observations, CRR 3123 of 2023 along with CRAN 1 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
