1. Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record.

2. The writ application has been preferred praying for release of the pending wages/salary from 06.01.2025 to 13.03.2025 having served as an Electrical Engineer, on consideration of the representation dated 23.06.2025.

3. It appears that a prayer has been made by the petitioner herein before the Labour Commissioner, Government of West Bengal, Kolkata, alleging illegal termination and praying for his salary which is due to him. But it has been kept pending.

4. The representation is dated 23.06.2025. It is stated that till date there has been no action on the part of the Labour Commissioner.

5. On hearing the parties, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the Labour Commissioner, Government of West Bengal, shall take necessary steps to ensure that the grievance of the petitioner as stated in his representation dated 23.06.2025 is looked into by a Competent Officer within a period of 60 (Sixty) days from the date of communication of this order. The Officer concerned shall consider the representation, on hearing the respective parties and decide the same in accordance with law.

6. In case, a copy of the representation dated 23.06.2025 is not available with the Labour Commissioner, Government of West Bengal, the petitioner is at liberty to file a copy of the same before the Authority concerned, who shall then proceed to dispose of the representation as directed in this order.

7. Let a copy of this order be sent to the Labour Commissioner for compliance.

8. The Writ application stands disposed of.

9. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

10. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

11. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
