Petitioner approached this Court complaining that in spite of information being furnished to the police authorities, no steps have been taken. Earlier, it was informed before this Court that Netaji Nagar P.S. Case No.162 dated 20.08.2024 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law.

Having considered the nature of the offence for which the investigation is being carried out by the Officer-in-Charge, Netaji Nagar Police Station, I direct that the police authorities would take steps so that within a reasonable period of time the report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is filed before the jurisdictional court.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 20875 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
