Petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the criminal proceeding which is pending since 2016.

Mr. Balial is directed to appear on behalf of the State. Copy of the petition be served upon him. Learned Public Prosecutor is directed to regularize her appointment. 3.

I have considered the materials on record. Charge sheet was filed in 2020 and the proceeding is pending since then. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, we direct the trial court to fix schedules for examination of witnesses at short intervals and conclude the trial at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. Parties shall co-operate with the trial court.
