Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an accused in a murder case. The private respondent is the wife of the victim deceased. After the petitioner was granted bail, he wanted to return home. But the private respondent and her men and agents are threatening and intimidating him and preventing him from entering into his house.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. As no cognizable case was made out on the complaint made from the petitioner's

side, no FIR was registered. However, upon local inquiry, the complaint that there was an attempt of illegal encroachment and threatening caused by the private respondent could not be substantiated. In fact, two other FIRs named accused Prasenjit Mondal and Mithun Mondal have been residing peacefully at their respective houses. Therefore, no further order need be passed in this case.

However, the police authority shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
