1. Contempt petition relates to the judgment and order dated August 4, 2023.

2. During the pendency of the contempt petition, we passed interim order dated September 4, 2024 and September 11, 2024 requiring fixation of responsibility of Finance Secretary to identify the person responsible for non-compliance of the judgment and order dated August 4, 2023.

3. Learned advocate appearing for the State relies upon an order dated November 13, 2024 by which, Finance Secretary fixed the responsibility Signed By :

and directed recovery of a sum of Rs.2,58,276/- from the persons identified therein.

4. In view of such action being undertaken by the Finance Department, we dispose of the contempt petition. Order of stoppage of salary passed by us during the pendency of the contempt petition is recalled. We clarify that this order of recalling will not affect the direction so far as the fixation of responsibility is concerned.

5. Finance Department is at liberty to implement its order dated November 13, 2024, in accordance with law.

6. No further order need be passed in the contempt petition.

7. CPAN 1367 of 2024 in WP.ST 110 of 2023 is disposed of accordingly.
