Matter relates to transfer of the petitioner from one school to another on the basis of an application made by the petitioner.

However, from the learned advocates representing the petitioner and West Bengal Central School Service Commission it is ascertained that the petitioner was selected for being appointed in the post of Assistant Teacher for Classes IX and X based on SLST 2016.

Since the entire selection process under SLST for appointment of Assistant Teachers for classes IX to XII has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, at present no order can be passed on this writ petition seeking transfer.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law seeking transfer in future, if situation so arises. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
