Criminal case was registered in February, 2024. It is contended he is in custody since then. He prays for expeditious disposal of the case.

Ms. Gaur is directed to appear on behalf of the State. Copy of the petitioner be served upon her. Learned Public Prosecutor is requested to regularize her appointment. 3.

I have considered the materials on record. It is alleged 28 bottles of phensedyl syrup were recovered from a scooty. Petitioner was arrested from the spot.

In view of the gravity of the offence and restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, he is in custody since then. Charge sheet has been filed and charge has been framed in July, 2024. Date has been fixed for recording evidence in September, and thereafter in December, 2024.

Chronology of events show that the trial is being conducted with reasonable expeditions.

We hope and trust that the same shall be concluded at an early date.
