Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the persons, from whom the fire arms were recovered, was granted bail by the Jurisdictional Court.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the independent witnesses recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner in the incident. Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the statement of the independent eye witnesses implicating the petitioner, the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 4348 of 2022 is dismissed.
