The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent no. 5/SubDivisional Controller, Food & Supplies, Canning, to refrain from deciding on the outcome of the vacancy notice being Memo No.

32/SCF&S/CAN/MR/VACANCY/2025 dated 06.01.2025.

It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of having a completed godown (possessing a suitable shop cum godown) on the date of application, the respondent authorities have unlawfully not provided licence in favour of the petitioner.

On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on perusal of the materials on record which includes an order dated 31.07.2025 and a copy of the photograph placed by the learned counsel for the

State along with a report, which clearly shows that as on 18.06.2025 at 12.51 hrs., the petitioner's godown was clearly under construction and, as such, the petitioner did not meet the requirements as laid down in the vacancy notice of having a completed godown (possessing a suitable shop cum godown) as on the date of application. The report filed be made part of the record.

5. The writ application thus having no merit stands dismissed.
