The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction by the Khejuri Police Station and Talpati Ghat Coastal Police Station in refusing to register FIR and investigate the alleged illegal conversion of Rayati land into bastu land by the certain persons.

Counsel for the said persons seeks to intervene the proceeding. Such leave is granted.

Panchanan Das, Jhantu Ari, Debkumar Mondal, Gourhari Ari, Sukumar Mondal, Shyamhari Mondal be added as party respondents to the instant proceeding. The advocate on record of the petitioner shall amend the cause title of the writ petition in the course of the day.

The petitioner shall serve a copy of the writ petition on the said added respondents.

Counsel for the added respondents submits that an appeal has been preferred against the order of the BL &LRO dated 03.02.2022.

Even otherwise the remedy of the petitioner for inaction on the part of the police is under Section 156(3) of the Cr. P. C. In the above circumstances, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

The Officers-in-Charge of the Khejuri Police Station and the Talpati Ghat Coastal Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

Instructions of O.C., Talpati Ghat Coastal Police Station dated 19.09.2022 are taken on record. With the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
