1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioners allege encroachment on the public road. Objection filed by the petitioners praying for removal of the encroachment is pending consideration at the end of the Assistant Engineer, Uluberia Highway Sub-Division, PWD (Roads) Directorate being the respondent no. 4 herein.

3. The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the aforesaid respondent to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioners in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. A reasonable opportunity of hearing shall be given to all the necessary parties and a reasoned order shall be passed and communicated by the aforesaid respondent to the parties immediately thereafter.

5. Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to forward the representation annexed at pages-26 and 27 of the writ petition along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
