The petitioner submits that he has incurred loss because of the act and actions of the private respondents and, to that extent, the petitioner complains to the local police authorities regarding his financial loss to the tune of Rs.6,00,500/- on the basis of deception committed at

the behest of the private respondents.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Suddhadev Adak, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to appear on behalf of the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Petitioner would hand over a copy of the writ petition upon Mr. Adak.

I have considered the submissions advanced as also the in action of the Officer-in-charge of Dadpur Police Station.

In view of the nature of the accusations made, I direct that as the police authorities has not acted on the representation furnished to them by the petitioner, the petitioner would be at liberty to canvass the issues under Section 175(3) of the BNSS before the learned jurisdictional Court.

The learned

jurisdictional Court would, in the circumstances, apply its mind, particularly, with regard to the loss incurred by the petitioner, thereafter, pass appropriate directions/order(s) in the facts and circumstances of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 20265 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
