Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. It is submitted there is slow progress in the matter before the trial court. It is further submitted petitioner is in custody for 270 days. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the minor victim. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on merits earlier. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We request the trial court to consider the issue of framing of charge at the earliest and in the event charge is framed to

proceed with the trial with utmost expedition and take the matter to its logical conclusion without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Ajay Kumar Gupta,J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
