Petitioner prays for transfer of proceedings under Sections 138/142 of the NI Act.

The proceeding was instituted before the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nadia.

3. Petitioner contends that he resides at District Dakshin Dinajpur and has to travel 294 kilometers to defend the proceeding.

I have considered the materials on record in the light of the aforesaid submissions.

Petitioner resides at Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur and the case is pending at Krishnanagar, Nadia. Both the places are District Headquarters and well connected by road and rail. That apart, in case of inconvenience or exigency it is open to the petitioner to seek representation through his learned counsel under Section 317 Cr.P.C. (355 BNSS). 6.

Under such circumstances, I am of the opinion that no case has been made out for transfer.

Accordingly, I am not inclined to entertain this application.

The revisional application is dismissed.
