The District Inspector of Schools (PE), Purba Medinipur, the respondent no.4 herein, in compliance with the direction dated December 12, 2024, had calculated the amount required to be refunded by the petitioner to get the benefit of family pension and had communicated the same to the petitioner; in pursuance thereof, the petitioner, under T.R. Form No.7, has deposited the said amount with the concerned Treasury.

Copy of the said challan is filed by Mr. Mitra, learned advocate for petitioner; let it be kept with the record. Mr. Bimalendu Das, learned advocate for the State files the instruction dated January 8, 2025 which he has received from the respondent no.4; let it be kept with the record. The said instruction says that as soon as the said amount would be deposited, the said respondent would take forward steps for issuance of necessary Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner as per the existing Government rules. The respondent no.4 is directed to prepare the pension papers of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from date of communication of this order and shall forward the same to the Director of Pension, Provident and Group Fund Insurance, the respondent no.3 herein; the said respondent, within four weeks from date of receipt of the said pension papers, shall take forward steps for issuance of the said Pension Payment Order, expeditiously, in accordance with law.

WPA 20923 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
