Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the application for return of the seized vehicle is pending since May, 2025. The agony expressed by the petitioner is that within a scheduled period, the said application should be disposed of. State has submitted a report.

In view of the nature of the prayer advanced before this court, the merits need not be gone into. Learned Magistrate would, within a month from the next date so fixed i.e. 24.10.2025, would dispose of the application for return of the seized vehicle which has been advanced by the petitioner before the said Magistrate being learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Haldia.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 20359 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record.
