The subject matter of the revisional application relates to the provision of Section 144 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The said provisions refer to certain statutory time limits for its existence.

In view of the subject matter of challenge being of July 21, 2017, I am of the opinion that any order passed therein has lost its force and the proceedings under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure has become infructuous.

Accordingly, CRR 2722 of 2017 is dismissed as infructuous.

All pending connected application, if any, are consequently disposed of.

Interim order, if any is hereby vacated.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
