Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioners being the members of Board of Directors of Co-operative Society in question have filed this writ petition alleging that some other outsiders are unauthorisedly running a parallel administration illegally and several other allegations. It appears on perusal of the writ petition that though the petitioners have made a representation to the Block Development Officer, Baruipur Development Block Officer as appears at page 39 to the writ petition, which according to me is not the appropriate authority for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner and the

appropriate authority for redressal of the grievance of the petitioners as appears from the statute is the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Society, Baruipur Development Block Office, the respondent No.5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 20649 of 2022 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate representation before the respondent No.5 for redressal of their grievance raised in this writ petition within a period of fortnight from date and if such representation is made by the petitioners before the respondent No.5, he will consider the same in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or their authorised representative within four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
