The petitioner complains that the private respondents have made construction over his private land.

The private respondents deny the allegation of the petitioner. It has been submitted that the private respondents did not raise any construction over the private land of the petitioner.

The land over which the construction is alleged to be made is L.R. Plot No. 1774, L.R. Khatian No. 418, J.L. No. 158, Mouja- Cheragram, under Police Station Gurap, District-Hooghly under the jurisdiction of Gurap Gram Panchayat.

As the private respondents deny responsibility of the construction made, it will be open for the Gram Panchayat to take necessary steps against the said construction, if the same is found to be constructed in deviation of the building Rules.

The Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat shall cause a spot inspection upon prior notice to all the necessary parties and take necessary consequential steps in the matter in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
