The petitioner's application seeking payment of pension in her favour being the dependent widow daughter is pending consideration.

The petitioner has averred in the writ petition that the Sub Inspector of Schools refused to accept the application from the petitioner allegedly on the ground that the date of birth mentioned in her Aadhar Card and PAN Card do not tally with the date mentioned in the school leaving certificate. The application was thereafter sent through post.

As the learned advocate representing the District Inspector of Schools is yet to receive any instruction in the matter, accordingly, without going into the allegation made by the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), 24 Parganas

South to consider the application made by the petitioner in accordance with law and in terms of the Memorandum No. 95 (80-SE) dated 13th April, 2010 at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 12th August, 2024 along with all documents in support of her claim to the District Inspector of Schools at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
