Raj Kumar Sur v. Deb Kumar Sur & ORS
Sr.69 24-09-2021 Subha.
Court no. 34
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION APPELLATE SIDE ( Via Video Conference ) CRR 2708 of 2012 In the matter of : Raj Kumar Sur . . ..petitioner. Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Debjani Sahu ..for the State.
The subject matter of this revisional application relates to challenge of the order dated 08.02.2012 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Hooghly in Criminal Misc. Case No. 159 of 2012 thereby granting anticipatory bail to the opposite party herein.
Record of this revisional application reflects that the FIR was registered under Sections 406/420 of the Indian Penal Code.
As none appeared on behalf of the petitioner or for the State, Mr. Imran Ali, learned advocate was directed to appear for assisting the court.
On an appreciation of the period which has lapsed after anticipatory bail has been passed, I am of the view that at this belated stage without any post bail misconduct being
placed before this court, it would be unjust to interfere at this stage with an order.
As such, no interference is called for by this court. Accordingly, the present revisional application being CRR 2708 of 2012 is dismissed.
All pending applications, if any, in connection with revisional application, are consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J. )
