The application for cancellation of anticipatory bail is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated January 31, 2023.

In course of hearing of the application for cancellation of anticipatory bail, the opposite parties agreed in court that, should the private opposite parties pay a sum of Rs. 7 lac to the petitioner, the petitioner will take steps for the purpose of withdrawing the police complaint.

Pursuant to such agreement, the private opposite parties made over a sum of Rs. 7 lac to the petitioner which the petitioner acknowledges receipt.

Apparently, the petitioner is yet to withdraw the police complaint.

The agreement as noted above, in this order, is placed on record.

No fruitful purpose will be sub-served by keeping the present application pending.

In such circumstances, CRM (DB) 3228 of 2022 is disposed of.
