It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. No injury was found on the victim. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the statement of the victim girl recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C. She has alleged penetrative sexual assault by the petitioner, who is an elderly person. In view of the gravity of the offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
