The said report reflects that next date fixed for evidence is on 21.12.2023. There are eight witnesses which the prosecution intends to rely upon to prove its case, out of which examination of only one witness is over and the process of examination of rest of the witnesses are in progress. Having regard to the fact that the case was instituted in the year 2016 and the next date is fixed on 21.12.2023, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Diamond Harbour henceforth to fix at least one date in a month so that trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties.

All stakeholders would cooperate with the learned trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 3143 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
