The petitioner is absconding in a murder case where charge sheet was filed impleading the petitioner as an accused. Warrant of proclamation of arrest was issued against the petitioner in such case. The petitioner is absconding till date.

On the prayer made on behalf of the State, the petitioner was requested to be present in Court. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he does not have direct control over his client. The petitioner is not present in Court.

It is sad that an advocate appearing for the petitioner claims that his client is not in contact with his client.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 4360 of 2022 is dismissed.
