1. By this public interest petition the petitioner seeks for certain reliefs with regard to the certain incidents which have occurred in the Jadavpur University.

2. This court is already seized of the matter and notice has been ordered to the authorities for their response and the matter will be listed on 5th September, 2023.

Hence, we are of the view that multiplicity of proceedings should be avoided and, therefore, we are not inclined to entertain a separate writ petition on the issues which have been pointed out by the writ petitioner but, however, grant leave to the writ petitioner to intervene in the pending writ petition.

Consequently, the writ petition stands dismissed.
