Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Mr. Sanjib Kumar Dan, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Petitioner is the accused who is aggrieved by the fact that on 14.09.2022, the learned trial court was pleased to fix date on 23.04.2024.

Records reflect that the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Barasat has fixed a date after one year seven months only for appearance. Learned Magistrate henceforth is directed to fix at least one date in every two months on and from 23.04.2024 and take efforts so that by June 2024, charge be framed in connection with the instant case. Learned trial court would thereafter proceed with the trial of the case by fixing at least one date in every 60 days (as directed above) so that trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 3152 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
