1. The petitioner by way of filing this public interest litigation, seeks for a direction upon the authorities to ensure that all infrastructural facilities are provided to the Dara Adarsha Bidyamandir (H.S.) and in this regard, a representation was submitted to all the authorities and complaining that the representation was not considered, the writ petition has been filed.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the respondents/School has produced copy of a communication sent to the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), South 24 Parganas dated September 22, 2024 stating that the allegations made by the petitioner are baseless and false. It has also been stated in the said communication that all facilities are in place in the said school. The school authorities have also invited the superior authorities to visit the school at any time for making inspection.

3. In the light of the same, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), South 24 Parganas to nominate one of his senior officers to conduct a surprise inspection of the school and ensure that all infrastructural facilities are provided to the students. Such surprise inspection shall be conducted within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order.

4. No costs.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
