1. By this public interest petition the petitioner seeks for certain reliefs with regard to the certain incidents which have occurred in the Jadavpur University and this court has already entertained public interest petition on various issues concerning the University and, therefore, we are of the view that entertaining several writ petitions on the selfsame issue will only lead to diluting the cause which has been placed before this court in the writ petitions which have already been entertained.

2. Therefore, we find no ground to entertain a separate writ petition at the instance of the petitioner which claims to be a public interest litigant.

3. We find in the other writ petitions the public interest litigants are already before court and in one such matter we have already granted leave to an alimony of the University to intervene in the proceedings. Therefore, the petitioner may await the outcome of those writ petitions.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands dismissed.
