The writ petitioner is aggrieved by alleged inaction on the part of the Shakespeare Sarani Police Station in respect of a complaint dated 16th August, 2022.

It appears that the petitioner had a business with the private respondents and is aggrieved that he has been cheated.

Having considered the facts of the case, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition since the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy under Section 156(3) of the Cr. P. C., which may be availed in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
