Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mrs. Manisha Sharma, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. Learned advocate for the petitioners is aggrieved by the fact that the petitioners are in custody since 17th December, 2021 and charge has been framed on August, 2022 but till date none of the witnesses so relied upon by the prosecution has been examined. The next date has been fixed on 28th August, 2023 as has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner. Accordingly, learned trial court for the purposes of the present case would fix a schedule consisting of three dates and such schedule be fixed once in every two months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. The Superintendent of Police of the concerned District if informed regarding the availability of the witnesses would

communicate with the court and ensure regarding its availability as it has been informed that majority/all of the witnesses belong to the government department or police department.

No unnecessary adjournments should be granted to either of the parties.

The Public Prosecutor appearing in the case would produce the materials, documents and exhibits on the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses concerned. All efforts be taken by the stake-holders to cooperate with the trial court so that the trial is concluded within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 3157 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
