In Re: CAN 1 of 2022 This is an application for restoration of WPA 21445 of 2021. The said writ petition was dismissed for default on August 2, 2022.

Upon perusing the explanations given in paragraph 5, the Court is satisfied that the petitioner was prevented by sufficient cause from attending the Court when the matter was dismissed for default.

Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2022 is allowed and disposed of.

The writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

In Re: WPA 21445 of 2021 The petitioner is aggrieved by non-supply of certain information and documents, which were claimed by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act from the Public Information Officer and the first Appellate Authority. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the State Information Commissioner to dispose of the second appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law upon granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as also the other parties, who may be interested in the nature of the queries.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to make appropriate submissions with supporting documents in support of his claim for the information sought for. The decision shall be passed in accordance with law upon completion of the hearing as directed by this Court and communicated to all concerned.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this writ petition along with a server copy of this order upon the respondent no.2 for necessary compliance.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.
