Sri Sankar Kumar Pal Mr. Gopal Ch. Ghosh, Mr. Rajkrishna Mondal ...for the Petitioner The petitioner is represented by his lawyer. Record shows that no notice has been served on the other side. The petitioner by filing the present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has prayed for giving necessary direction to the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at Barasat for expeditious disposal of injunction petition pending since 2008.

Since the petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the injunction application, this Court does not find any need to serve notice of the present application on the opposite party and it is not likely to cause any prejudice to the interest of the opposite party. Therefore, service of notice upon the opposite party is dispensed with. Thus, the prayer for the petitioner is allowed.

Learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at Barasat is directed to dispose of the injunction application against which the defendant has filed written objection in the month of June, 2008 within 15 days from the date of communication of this order,

without granting any adjournment to either of the parties.

After disposal of the injunction application, the learned Court below, however, is directed to dispose of this case within one year.

Accordingly, the revisional application being C.O. 2332 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
