Mr. Ayan Bhattacherjee, learned advocate appearing for the present petitioners submits that the petitioner no.1, who is opposite party before the learned District and Sessions Judge, Barasat, North 24 Parganas in connection with Criminal Revision No.127 of 2018, is aggrieved of the pendency of the revisional application for a considerable period of time. It has been submitted by Mr. Bhattacherjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners that the present petitioner no.1 was acquitted of the charges and the criminal revisional application being No.127 of 2018 which is the subject matter of challenge relating to the acquittal passed is a cause of anxiety to the present petitioner no.1.

Mr. Anwar Hossain, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to appear and represent the state. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned

authorities.

As the present revisional application being No.127 of 2018 is pending for about four years, I direct the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Barasat, North 24 Parganas to either dispose of the revisional application himself or delegate the revisional application to any court of his choice and either of the court would take steps for disposing the revisional application being No.127 of 2018 by 15th February, 2023. The learned court while finally disposing of the revisional application would take into account the directions passed by this Court in CRR 2573 of 2021 which was disposed of on 23.12.2021.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3405 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
