....for the State Order dated March 17, 2022 passed in CRM(DB) 87 of 2022 with CRM 9028 of 2021 was mentioned at the instance of the State.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, directions contained in such order relating to Mr. Arindam Roy, Advocate were not complied with.

The order dated March 17, 2022 required the Registrar General to lodge appropriate complaint against Mr. Arindam Roy, Advocate with the Bar Council of West Bengal. It also required the Registrar General to lodge complaint under Section 340 of the Criminal Procedure Code against Mr. Arindam Roy,

Advocate with regard to his false statements made in Court on February 18, 2022.

Registrar General will submit a report as to the status with regard thereto on the next date.
