The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his minor daughter, 14 years of age, has gone missing again. In respect of the first complaint against the private respondents, FIR No.650, dated 12th November 2021 was registered by the Chakdah Police. The minor girl was recovered for the clutches of the private respondents, and after much persuasion, was handed over from the custody of the State to the writ petitioner. The girl has once again gone missing along with the private respondents. Admittedly the girl is a minor. The Inspector-in-Charge, Chakdah Police Station shall expedite the investigation into the matter, recover the girl and submit a final report before the concerned judicial magistrate as expeditiously as possible. All efforts shall be made by the Chakdah Police Station to recover the missing girl.

The private respondents are represented. It is submitted that they have no contact with the principal accused.

The private respondents shall cooperate with the investigation as undertaken by their counsel before this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
