The petitioner is an unmarried daughter of a deceased primary school teacher. She seeks family pension.

From the documents annexed to the writ petition it appears that the prayer of the petitioner was duly considered by the District Inspector of Schools, Primary Education, Howrah and vide communication dated 23rd May, 2022 the petitioner was directed to submit certain documents. There is nothing on record to suggest that the petitioner submitted the documents as sought for. The petitioner is directed to forward the documents as sought for to the aforesaid respondent.

On receipt of the documents from the petitioner the District Inspector of Schools (PE), Howrah shall take steps to process the family pension file of the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of all documents. The aforesaid respondent shall ensure that the family pension is disbursed in favour of the petitioner within a period of ninety days thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
