Affidavit of service filed in court today is taken on record.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the registered envelopes addressed to the private respondents returned with the endorsement "insufficient address".

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, this court decides to take up the writ petition without directing the petitioner to serve notice afresh. The learned advocate for the State files a report of the Officer-in-charge of the Basudebpur Police Station dated 4th September, 2024 which is taken non record. The said report states that pursuant to the complaints lodged by the petitioners FIRs being no. 149/2024 and 150/2024 dated 3rd July, 2024 were registered. After completion of investigation in respect of the aforesaid FIRs, charge sheet bearing no.161/24 dated 28.07.2024 under Section 126(2)/115(2)/151(2)/3(5) BNS and charge sheet bearing no.198/24 dated 31.08.2024 under Section 329(3)/117(2)/74/109/351(2)/3(5) BNS have been filed.

Since the police authorities have taken steps pursuant to the complaints lodged by the petitioners, no further order is necessary in this matter.

With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties after completion of all necessary formalities.
