Petitioner Ms. Rupsa Sreemani ... for the petitioner The present revisional application has been preferred for expediting the progress of the Complaint Case No. C-45 of 2020 pending before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Barrackpore.

Learned Advocate has drawn the attention of the Court to the orders so passed and the same reflects that dates have been fixed for evidence before charge. But, none of the witnesses till date have been examined. List of the witnesses as reflected from the complaint reflects that four witnesses are to be examined. Accordingly, the Learned Trial Court would fix one date in every 75 dates so that the evidence before charge be completed prior to the statutory requirement under the West Bengal Amendment Act provided under the said Chapter. All efforts be taken so that the evidence before charge be completed by 31st of August, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3162 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
