IA No.: CAN 2 of 2023 has been preferred by the petitioner praying for direction upon the learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta to disburse the amount deposited by the respondent no.4 along with the interest till payment to the petitioner herein.

Vide an order dated 2nd March, 2022 a Coordinate Bench had directed the respondent no.4 to deposit an amount of Rs.3,72,717/- which is the amount of gratuity as granted by the Controlling Authority.

Due to non-compliance, the petitioner filed a contempt application and the respondent no.4 has since complied with the order of payment.

Considering the prayer of the petitioner and the materials on record, the petitioner is at liberty to pray for withdrawal of the amount deposited

with the learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta and the said amount shall be released on proper identification and receipt as per rules. 5.

IA No.: CAN 2 of 2023 stands disposed of.

Urgent Xerox certified copies of this order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the learned counsel for the parties as expeditiously as possible, in compliance of usual formalities.
