Mr. Saibal Acharyya Mr. Pradip Paul .....For the Petitioners Mr. Subhabrata Dutta Mr. Banibrata Dutta .....For the State Mr. Sukanta Das .....For Respondent Nos.6 to 10 The Officer-in-Charge, Narayangarh Police Station, Paschim Medinipur has submitted a report in the form of instruction addressed to the Government Pleader. It appears that there is no political rivalry between the petitioners and the private respondents. The petitioner is an I.C.D.S. worker and a part of a group that has serious disputes and differences with a rival group. The petitioners are now enjoying all civic amenities. The Narayangarh Police Station did receive the petitioners' complaint which is diarized for enquiry. Since no cognizable offence made out in the complaint proceedings under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code had been taken out. In view of the above, this Court does not find inaction on the part of the police. The Narayangarh Police Station shall

maintain regular vigil over the area and ensure that the petitioners are not preventing from availing all civic amenities. The writ petition being, W.P.A. 21487 of 2021 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
