By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent nos.2 to 4, to consider the representation of the petitioner for transfer on distance and medical grounds from his present place of posting i.e., Magnavita FPS under Karandighi East Circle, district Uttar Dinajpur to any school nearby to his residence under Bankura District Primary School Council.

The petitioner contends that he is an Assistant Teacher at Magnavita FPS under Karandighi East Circle, district Uttar Dinajpur. The petitioner joined the school on 7th August, 2021. The petitioner's father has been detected with

enlargement of prostate, Grade-I fatty change in liver, bilateral mild echogenic kidney problems. The mother of the petitioner is also suffering from various old age diseases. The petitioner has to travel 418 kilometres everyday to attend his work place. The petitioner made a representation before the respondent authorities on 10th June, 2025 seeking transfer. However, the same is pending with the authority. Hence, this writ petition. 4.

Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned advocate, for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authority to take a decision on the matter of transfer of the petitioner in accordance with law. 5.

In view of the above, the respondent no.4, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 10th June, 2025, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the respondent no.4, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

With the above direction, writ petition, being WPA 20538 of 2025, stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

Connected application, if any, stands disposed of.

10. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
