The Egra Police Station has found that the disputes between the petitioners and the private respondents are purely civil in nature.

This Court notices that an application for rectification of records has also been disposed of by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal in O.A. No. 905 of 2020 on September 22, 2022.

Appropriate civil or statutory remedies may be sought by the petitioner.

The Court sees no inaction on the part of the police.

The Egra Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. 7.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8.

There shall be no order as to costs.

9.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
