Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the victim in this case and as such an appeal will lie against an order of acquittal of the accused. In view of the above, the petitioner does not want to press the revisional application and would instead prefer an appeal as a victim of the offence. On the prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the revisional application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, this order would not come in the way of the petitioner in challenging the order of acquittal by way of an appropriate application. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
